"Behold I am the light; I have set an example for you." 3 Nephi 18:16
The scriptures are filled with the stories of Christ and talk about his doctrine and teachings. He came into the World so that through him all of us might be saved. There is controversy about being saved by grace and what not but I love these verses that speak about more of who we should become. Christ has bekoned us over and over again to come unto him, he teaches that he is the light and life of the world and we can be healed if we just come unto him. But this verse is powerful, to see and understand more of the life of Christ pertaining to our life-that's remarkable. Christ did indeed come into the world to save those that would believe and come unto him but further more he came to show us the way and path that we must walk in order to obtain eternal life. If we desire to return to the presence of God then we must do as he has done, for he is the only way and means that salvation shall come.
